What Exactly is Socialism?

A certain demographic in the US is adamant that Socialism will fix all the country’s problems.
“Look at Sweden.” Everything is perfect, there. After all, they have “free” college and “free” health care.
The same or similar program is found in Norway and Denmark.

However, the “cradle-to-grave” welfare state that Sanders admires brought with it the highest taxes in the world for many years, peaking at 52.3%, which naturally led to all the major businesses like Ikea, leaving the county.

Sweden has since revised its economic model; competition returned and so did business (and jobs).

For all the good Bernie Sanders may want to do, he believes in nothing more than “an urban legend”.
