Haim Saban

Israeli-American television and media proprietor, Haim Saban, has a net worth of $2.9 billion as of September 2011, according to Forbes 400. Haim Saban chairs Spanish language broadcaster Univision, which he bought in conjunction with private equity firms in 2007 for $13.7 billion. In October 2010 Saban settled a dispute with Mexican broadcaster Televisa and negotiated a deal in which Televisa bought a stake in Univision for $1.2 billion and agreed to provide the U.S. network with its popular programming. The Egyptian-born Israeli-American television and media proprietor is ranked by Forbes as the 104th richest man in America.
